Mark Oshnock is the President and CEO of Visiting Nurse Health System, Inc., a $50 million revenue organization serving the home health, geriatric care management and end-of-life needs of the 20 county metro Atlanta market. Visiting Nurse is the third largest home health organization and the 5th largest nonprofit employer in Atlanta. It serves 20,000 patients annually, manages 600 professionals and owns the 36-bed Hospice Atlanta Center, the largest hospice facility in the state.
Prior to joining Visiting Nurse Health System, Oshnock was the Managing Partner of Arthur Andersen’s Healthcare Consulting business, building and leading a national strategy, technology and management consulting unit of 350 professionals and $125 million in revenue. Oshnock worked with Andersen for 25 years, is a CPA and graduated with a degree in Finance and Accounting from Michigan State University.
From 2005 to 2007, Oshnock served on the executive committee of the board of the Georgia Department of Community Health, which oversees the State’s $10 billion Medicaid, State Health Benefit and Certificate of Need programs and on the Mayor’s Health Services CEO Forum, which developed an action plan to drive healthcare job growth in the city.
