  • VNAA and Clorox Announce Recipients of the 2018 Say “Boo!” to the Flu Grant

    The Visiting Nurse Associations of America (VNAA) is excited to announce our continuing partnership with the Clorox Company to give busy families an easy way to help scare away the flu virus this fall. More than 150,000 vaccines have been administered to children through the Say “Boo!” to the Flu program since its inception in 2005.

    VNAA Welcomes New Board Members

    The Visiting Nurse Associations of America (VNAA) today announced that Carole Fisher, Nathan Adelson Hospice; Melanie Morris, Advanced Home Care; Kathleen Peirce, VNA of Care New England; Lynda Tanner, Visiting Nurse and Hospice of Santa Barbara; Laura Page-Greifinger, Quality in Real Time (QIRT); and Sheri Dodd of Medtronic, have been named to the VNAA Board of Directors. VNAA membership voted to appoint the six new Board members at the annual National Leadership Conference in Washington, DC.

  • New Non-Profit Industry Association Launches to Advocate for High-Quality, Affordable Home-Based Health Care

    The Visiting Nurse Associations of America (VNAA) today launched ElevatingHOME, a new 501(c)6 organization that brings together America’s home-based care providers to advocate for high-quality, affordable home care. ElevatingHOME will unify the myriad voices of home-based health care and reposition home-based care as the center of health care delivery.

VNAA is a 501(c)(3) organization that supports, promotes and advocates for the role of mission-driven home-based care providers including home health, hospice and palliative care. VNAA’s members provide high-quality, cost-effective and compassionate home-based care to the nation’s most vulnerable individuals, particularly the elderly and individuals with disabilities. VNAA members range from independent, free-standing home health and hospice agencies, to home health and hospice providers that are affiliated with or owned by integrated health care systems.  In today’s health care environment, VNAA’s members are an essential component of health care delivery systems in communities across the country.
 
VNAA is a subsidiary organization of ElevatingHOME. ElevatingHOME is a 501(c)(6) industry organization formed to align, unify and strengthen the home-based care industry. ElevatingHOME envisions home-based care providers as a critical component of health care delivery models and advances this vision through communications, research and robust advocacy initiatives. All VNAA provider members are also ElevatingHOME members.
