I had the honor of speaking last week at the 10th Annual Partners HealthCare Connected Health Symposium. I’ve attended this event a number of times but this year’s event was just fabulous. Kudos to Center Founder and CEO Dr. Joseph Kvedar and Associate Director Joseph Ternullo for creating an intersection of exciting new innovation, important business opportunities and incredible networking.
One of the most engaging people I met was Wen Dombrowski, MD, MBA. Wen is the new Chief Medical Information Officer & VP, Connected Health for the Visiting Nurse Association Health Group in Red Bank, NJ. Wen embodies precisely what we need more of in home health: innovation, insight, energy and fearlessness. She’s young and passionate about aging services and pediatric care, as well as the role of new technologies and business models to improve both. A conversation with Wen leaves you with a dozen new perspectives and ideas for potential partnerships. Kudos to Steven Landers, MD, President and CEO of VNAHG for his vision of the future of home health and for bringing Wen into our industry to help him achieve it. I look forward to supporting that work and vision.
