As a precursor to VNAA’s 32nd Annual Meeting, there will be a golf outing on Tuesday, April 1 starting at 1:30 p.m. at the Southshore Golf Club. The outing is free for VNAA members. Representatives from other nonmember, nonprofit providers of home health, hospice or community health services may also play for free. Club rentals are $65 per person for players that do not want to bring their own clubs. Space is limited to 32 golfers on a first come, first serve basis.
The outing format is a shotgun start, best ball scramble. There will be prizes for the first and second place teams as well as contests on the course such as longest drive and closest to the pin. After the outing players will gather at the clubhouse for a cocktail and award reception presented by CareWatch.
As the only private Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course in Nevada, The Golf Club at Southshore features dramatic elevation changes and fairways that stretch from the shores of Lake Las Vegas to the mountains. This Lake Las Vegas golf course is sure to challenge players of all skill levels. Novices can take solace in forgiving fairways and as many as five sets of tees per hole. Seasoned pros will find their low handicap challenged by strategic bunkering and forced carries over water hazards.
