Marcia P. Reissig has been the Chief Executive Officer of Sutter Care at Home – Sutter Health’s home care affiliate – since March 2007. Ms. Reissig is responsible for the development and administration of the system’s $300 million home care program, which includes home health, hospice, home infusion pharmacy, home medical equipment and respiratory therapy, private services, and flu and wellness services. Sutter Care at Home's nearly 2,000 employees serve over 19,000 patients a day throughout northern California.
A nurse, with more than 3 decades of management and clinical experience, Marcia has dedicated much of her career to providing vision and leadership in the integration of home care organizations with each other and across the continuum of care. She held chief executive positions at Partners Health Care in Boston and two other large integrated health care systems in New York prior to joining Sutter Health. She serves on Executive Committees of the Alliance for Home Health Quality & Innovation (AHHQI) Board of Directors and the LINC group of system-affiliated post-acute and community-based services providers. Past board experience includes the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) Board of Directors, the Hospital Home Care Association of America, and the boards of the New York, Massachusetts, and California home care associations. Board advisory services have included the California Hospital Association Center for Post-Acute Care, AgeTech West, and Home Care 100.
A frequent presenter nationally, Marcia has earned a number of awards and honors including the Mass Technology Leadership Award in recognition of her leadership role in utilizing technology to manage a full spectrum of clinical services. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a Master of Science degree in Community Health from the University of Rochester.
