Each year, VNAA brings together policymakers and thought leaders to discuss the policy issues facing the home health, hospice and palliative care industry through its Public Policy Leadership Conference. This annual event allows home health, hospice and palliative care providers the opportunity to receive training and education on important post-acute care policy and gain an insider’s perspective on health care-related issues in Congress and the Administration.
VNAA’s 2016 Public Policy Leadership Conference took place September 14–15 in Washington, D.C. at the Washington Court Hotel and featured a keynote from Dr. Patrick Conway, Deputy Chief Administrator for Innovation and Quality and Chief Medical Officer at CMS. Attendees also heard from Congressional speakers, representatives from CMS and thought leaders on topics such as:
- Implementation of CMS Home Health Value-Based Purchasing Program from the CMS and provider perspectives
- MedPAC’s Work on a Unified Post-Acute Care Payment Model
VNAA’s 2017 Public Policy Leadership Conference will take place September 27-28 in Washington, D.C. at the Hyatt Regency Washington.
